フランス南部の山火事は、
今や夏の「風物詩」のように毎年報道されますが、
その規模は年々拡大しています。
「気候変動による干ばつが影響」という首相の言葉は重要です。
これはもはや「温暖化」という緩やかな変化ではなく、
国連事務総長が警告した「地球沸騰化」という、
より激しいステージに入ったことの証左ではないでしょうか。
遠い国の出来事ではなく、
日本でも起こりうる未来として捉えるべきです。
